Charlie in Ms. Gallagher’s class has been learning about Italy this week as he prepares to make the trip to Rome to support Ireland on Sunday. Charlie has his poster ready and has assured us all that Ireland is going to win.

On Friday, the boys in Ms. Herity’s First Class visited Ms. O’Kelly’s Junior Infants to read them stories…some of which the First Class boys had written themselves! The boys really enjoyed themselves and hope to visit again.
Before Christmas, 5th class took part in the Dublin Lions Club Peace Poster competition. The theme was ‘Lead with Compassion’ and entrants had to submit a poster that tried to represent that theme. Our school’s overall winner was Tom Meade who was put forward for the All Ireland competition. Our runners up were Luke McGrath, James Barnes and Donnacha Cronin. …
Ms. O’Kelly’s boys have gone wild. They have been learning about wild animals in Aistear and making didgeridoos for art. Axel brought in a real didgeridoo and played it for the class.
The boys in Ms. Mooneys also got the opportunity to make St. Brigid’s crosses on Wednesday thanks to a generous parent who supplied the rushes.
