Our Junior Infants had their first school tour last Friday. The fun began with the boys taking their first class trip on a bus. It only got better from here and the boys had a great day in Glenroe Farm, as you can see from the pictures.
For their final school tour, the 6th class boys went to Emerald Park on Friday last. A great day was had by all with the freedom to roam the theme park. Thankfully the queues were not too bad. The boys in 5th class headed off last Tuesday to the National Sports Campus to undertake a very active school tour. The tour gave the boys a number of opportunities to try all the sports of our Olympians. A great day was had by all and the boys were particularly tired on the way home.
Eileen Warren, our schools’ psychologist is retiring shortly from National Educational Psychological Service. Eileen has helped so many of our pupils and always arrives to St Pius X BNS with a smile. We will really miss her advice and support and wish her well in retirement.
