Congratulations to the St. Pius X NS Mixed tennis team for winning  the Leinster Schools Tennis final which took place last week. The team gave a great display and were welcomed back to a guard of honour by the senior classes. Well done boys and girls.

Our Senior Infants and 1st class boys visited the Civic Theatre in Tallaght last week to watch a play. The show was called Fall and Float. This was a reward for all the great work being completed in class. Well done boys we hope you enjoyed the show.

Sean and Daniel had a once in a lifetime experience last weekend when then were mascots at the Leinster and Northampton match in the Champions Cup Semi Final in Croke Park. Here they are, pictured with the cup Leinster hope to win in 2 weeks time.

St. Pius X BNS was transformed last Friday when we recieved a visit from Farmer Tom from Laois and some of his farmyard friends. Not a common sight in the suburbs of South Dublin, we welcomed a goat, calf, sheep & lamb, pig and chickens to the front yard and they provided endless excitement and amazement for the day. As

On Saturday last, the boys in 6th class celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation in St. Pius X church. Thanks to Fr. Pat and Fr. Gerry who confirmed the boys in what was a joyful occasion and important part of the boys lives. Thanks to the Parish team who helped marshal on the day.

St. Pius X BNS had a deferred SnaG this year due to our musical.  The events got underway yesterday with Caint agus Comhra sa seomra GP. Today we had our ceolchoirm with every class performing a piece as gaeilge. As you can see below there was a range of talents on show.
