The boys in Ms. O’Kelly’s Junior Infants started school in St. Pius X Boys’ NS yesterday playing loads of games and making new friends. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and even the teachers had some fun with the new toys and Aistear equipment!

Yesterday was a special day for the boys in Ms. Robinson’s class as it was their first time in St. Pius X BNS. The boys began their 8 year journey with some fun and games. Thankfully the boys were impressed and came back again today.

St. Pius X BNS will reopen on Thursday September 1st at 8.45am. The opening times for our new incoming Junior Infants has been communicated to parents and is different to above. The staff have been busy the last few days preparing to welcome the boys back after their summer break. We look forward to another very successful year in St.

The third classes headed up the mountains last week for their school tour. Footgolf was the game, followed by bubble soccer and just general fun. With two very skillful and competitive classes, the boys went head to head to win. All the boys finished under par, with the exception of Mr. Finnegan, who double bogeyed the last to finish +10.
