Our hurlers got their season under way yesterday with victories over our neighbours Ballyroan. In all three games, the teams showed great skill and determination to come away with the win. Thanks to the teachers in charge for organising and to Terenure College for the grounds.
Well done to all our winners of the annual St. Pius X Parents Association’s Fittest class challenge. The overall class winners were Ms. Redmond’s 6th class and Ms. Herity’s 1st class. Some serious ground was covered over the weekend. Thankfully the school does not have to pay mileage!!! Thanks to everyone who took part and to the PA for organising.
The boy’s in Ms Stewart’s class are reading the Grandad’s Secret Giant and created a huge picture to go on the wall just like the mural in the story. The boys had loads of fun, working together to make this masterpiece.
Our Hurling season gets underway tomorrow Thursday in Terenure College as our Senior Greens and Senior Whites welcome Ballyroan Boys for our first game. We cant wait! Tim from Mr.Finnegan’s 3rd got a great surprise on Sunday when he was named teammate of the year with Terenure Rugby Club. He is accompanied in the picture below by his friends Leo and Oscar. Well done Tim 🙂
Well done to the boys soccer team on their 2-0 win against Saint Kevin’s from Tallaght today in sunny Larkview FC. A big thank you to Mr. Curtin and Mr.Cunningham for all their help. 🥅🏟️⚽
Max from Mr.Cunningham’s class brought in his amazing set of classic car magazines given to him by his great uncle Bernard. Max wants a cherry red Ferrari when he grows up and his favourite car from the magazines is the vintage Rolls Royce.
The Senior White team ran around the school to show off their victory and new silverwear! The boys from Junior Infants to 1st class did not have the opportunity to travel to the match so it was great for them to get to talk to the team and join in on the celebrations!
