The Senior Tennis Team played the Leinster Final in Greystones last Thursday against Willow Park. Unfortunately the boys narrowly lost a brilliant final 2-1. We are so proud of the boy’s achievement and effort this season to make it to the final. This was the first year that the school has played in this higher Division and to reach a Leinster Final was amazing so well done to all the members of the panel. We have been developing tennis for all ages for a number of years in St Pius and here’s hoping that this great achievement can encourage other boys to follow in the footsteps of this year’s team. I want to thank our brilliant tennis coach Stephen O’Connor for his expertise and guidance for the last few years. Finally I want to thank Mr. Coyle for fully supporting the tennis development throughout the school. The future looks very bright!
