The boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s Class were looking at ways of incorporating sustainability into the classroom. They decided that Art would be their project. Using recyclable materials the boys made Ginger Bread houses.

The boys in 3rd class spent Thursday in Terenure College Hurling with Tommy from Faughs. Tommy set up a blitz for the boys to finish their 6 weeks training programme. The sun shone and the sliotars flew and a great day was had by all. Thanks to Tommy and Faughs for their continue support. We look forward to 2025 when

The St. Pius X Art Exhibition began today in the schools PE hall. Last month, each boy tapped into their creative minds to paint/colour and draw a masterpiece, which is now on show in the hall. Make sure to have a look tomorrow morning or after school at their creative genius.

Aoroh in Ms. Herity’s Class made a visit to Mr. Coyle’s office this week with some great news. He had finished his first book ‘Andrew’s Adventure’. Aoroh spent  a lot of time and effort creating his first publication, and all while doing his 1st class work. Look out David Walliams, there is a new author in town.

As we finish up our trainings with Kevin from Templeogue Synge Street, the boys in second class had a blitz in Terenure College. Ms. Dunne’s and Mr. Cunningham’s classes had a great trip to the Kildare Millennium Maze on Monday for their school tour. With over 2km of maze to navigate, Mr Cunningham nearly missed the bus as he could not find his way. Thankfully the boys, using their orienteering skills, managed to get him out. A great day was had by all.

The boys fought hard from the start against a very strong St. Laurence’s team who proved to be too strong in the end. Even in defeat, it was a great opportunity for the boys to play on Croke Park.
