The boys in 6th class celebrated Europe Day to mark Irelands 50th year in the European Union. Global Citizenship is an important topic covered in 6th class and the boys learned about the role of the European Union and the benefits of being a member.
Thanks to Ronan McMahon, chairperson of the Board of Management who spoke to the boys about the EU and Irelands history in it since 1973. Thanks too to JJ who raised our new EU flag.
