The boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s class left the classroom today and headed to a sunny Newbridge to visit the Agri Aware Lidl Farm. The boys looked at how food goes from farm to fork, looking at the different vegetables growing in the poly tunnels. The boys also met a family of sheep who were enjoying the sun shine. Once of the highlights of the trips was the train ride through Lidl’s distribution centre. The boys saw all the products coming in and being packed up to be distributed all over Ireland.
