Here in St. Pius X BNS we know how great our boys are. Here is a small sample of some achievements of some of the boys outside of school:
Well done to Dylan in Ms. Dunnes 3rd class who recently won gold at the Dublin athletics Championship in the 600m event.
Well done to Ryan in Mr. Geraghty’s 6th class who recently played a tournament in Barcelona with his soccer team. While negotiations are still underway, we managed to negotiate his return and he will complete his contract with St. Pius X before heading on a free transfer to secondary school.
Well done to Sean in Mr. Geraghty’s 6th class who recently represented the school at the Cumann na mBunscol Puc Fada competition that took place in Na Fianna. Sean finished 2nd place with an impressive strike.
Leo, in Mr. Dillon’s class recently represented St. Pius X and Dublin at the Dublin Antrim Friendship games that took place in Corrigan Park in Belfast. Leo, a star of the schools football team played his part in ensuring Dublin got the win. Well done Leo.
Billy in 3rd class couldn’t believe his ears that his neighbour Oisin (himself a former past pupil; class of 2016!!) had new baby chicks that had hatched over the weekend. He decided to check it out himself!!
Jack & Rian in Ms. Devenney’s 2nd class got to meet some of their heroes this week ahead of the Lions game in the Aviva this weekend. The boys met a number of Ireland and the Lions top rugby players.
