The annual Faughs community project awards night took place last night in the Faugh’s clubhouse.
Boys from 5th class completed projects last year showing the great link between the school and club. Special guest on the night was Dublin Hurling manager Mattie Kenny who answered questions, posed for photos and most importantly told the boys what qualities he looks for in a player. The boys took the advice on board and hopefully some will go on to wear the blue jersey in years to come.
Thanks to Faughs for organising the great project and their continued support in promoting Gaelic Games in the school. In particular thanks to the club GPO Tommy, who coaches the boys each week.
