The boys in  Ms Carroll’s 3rd class celebrated World Book Day by bringing in some of the books they love to read. The boys had a lovely afternoon sharing their book recommendations with their classmates and swapping books with one another. The classroom was full of energy and positivity, which reminded them of their love of books and reading!

2nd class had great fun celebrating World Book Day today by dressing up as their favourite book characters. Ms.O’Dell’s class had a fantastic range of costumes including Willy Wonka, Napoleon, Ernest Shackleton and even a dictionary! It was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm while celebrating our love of reading.

To celebrate World Book Day, students from Ms. Stewart’s class and Mr. Dillon’s class enjoyed some special buddy reading time together. The children paired up to share stories, practise their reading, and chat about their favourite books. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying reading together!

It was a truly lovely sight this week as Ms. Stewart’s boys and Ms. Nolan’s girls came together and made new friends and buddies. Moments like these remind us how important it is to create opportunities for children to mix, build confidence, and support one another. We are so proud of how warmly everyone welcomed their new buddies.
