St Pius X Schools will reopen after the Summer break on Monday 1st September 2025. Gates will open at 8.40 am and it will be a normal school day for boys from Senior Infants to 6th class. The green fingers in Ms. Pleamonn’s class paid off today as the boys got reap what they sowed as they harvested their early potatoes. It was a great crop this year and they managed to avoid any diseases such as blight to ensure every boy got their own spud. Well done boys

5th Class finished the year on a high today with their school tour to Emerald Park. The boys (and their teachers) had a great days fun on the rides and rollercoasters. It caps a great year and the boys are looking forward to returning in September as “Top Dogs ” of St. Pius X

The Whizz Quiz finished up another year of fun questions, tricky teasers and puzzling pics. Our weekly quizzes, organised by Mr Réamonn, are sent digitally to classes on a Friday and a class leader-board is kept throughout the year. Sebastian (Seb) in Mr. Dillon’s Class ran in to an old friend yesterday on his holidays in the USA. Mr. Cunningham, who left St. Pius  to follow his dreams of being a singer, spotted Seb, a past pupil of his in the crowd.
