Another huge performance took place today at 11.00am with Ms. Stewart’s boys next up on stage. Ralph the Reindeer was the play and the boys knocked it out of the park. All the hard work, learning lines and actions paid off with the boys maiden performance on stage a huge hit with the full house crowd. Well done boys!!

And now to the main events, our Junior Infant plays. For many of our boys it is their debut in the musical world. They took to the stage like ducks to water. The boys in Ms. Dunne’s had the final performance of Tuesday’s schedule and boy did they finish the day with a bang. Those early November practices really paid off as the boys brought down the house with laughs and joke. Well done boys.

Ms. O’ Regan’s boys took to the stage yesterday at the matinee performance with their interpretation of Christmas with the Aliens. The costume department went all out and the boys gave a display worthy of the Bord Gais. Well done boys.

Next up it was the turn of Ms. Mason’s 1st class boys. Thy performed Christmas with the Aliens, a modern take on the nativity. The boys gave a stellar performance with too many stars to name. Well done boys.

As is tradition, the school will have a no-uniform day on Tuesday next (December 19th). The proceeds of the no-uniform day will go to charity. This year, the selected charity is Little Blue Heroes, in memory of Michael Horgan. Donations can be made via the Aladdin Connect app. The link will remain open until Thursday 21st with the amount raised

Ms. Devenney’s boy’s rounded off day 1 of Christmas play with the classic, Light’s, Camel, Action. The boys got a standing ovation for their performance, lasting over 45 minutes. Well done boys.

Second up was Ms. O’ Kelly’s boys and they set the standards very high. The boys put on a broadway show for the full house in attendance.

Ms. Brogan’s boys were first up on stage this morning with their play, Its a baby!. The boys spent the morning with Make up and Wardrobe and completely transitioned into their roles. The audience were blown away by the boys performances. Well done boys.

The choir have been working hard behind the scenes the last few weeks preparing for the junior and senior carol service. Over 70 boys from 3rd to 6th have been practicing’s each Monday, as well as a few impromptu sessions sprinkled throughout. Well done to the boys, we are looking forward to next Wednesday (20th).
