George in Ms. O’Dell’s 3rd class has become an author with his new published book “Dragon Quest – The Goblin War.” He had creative help by his good friend Peter Coyle in completing the 35-page thriller, which took over a month to perfect! Congratulations to Cody from Ms. O’Sullivan’s 5th Class and Theo from Ms. Pleamonn’s 2nd Class on winning Gymnast’s of the year, held in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday. Theo received a trophy in the under 7’s category and Cody in the under 12’s. We are so proud of their achievements. Well done boys!
Today three great workers Bodie, Patrick and Tom made their way to Mr Coyle’s office for outstanding effort in Ms.O’Neill’s Senior Infants. They were rewarded for their efforts with brand new Saint Pius X BNS hats to keep them warm on these cold mornings 🥶 Well done boys 👏
Charlie in Ms. Gallagher’s class has been learning about Italy this week as he prepares to make the trip to Rome to support Ireland on Sunday. Charlie has his poster ready and has assured us all that Ireland is going to win.
The boys in Ms. O’Kelly’s class were busy in the kitchen yesterday as they prepared their pancakes for the big day. The boys practiced their flipping skills before serving up delicious pancakes.

Last week David from Mr.Geraghty’s 6th Class played an international tennis tournament in Gendringen, a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. He tested himself against boys his ages from a number of other countries. He did really well and came home with the winning trophy. Well done David.
Ms.Pleamonn’s 2nd class are currently learning about global warming. Callum very kindly brought in a model of a wind turbine and explained how it works as a renewable energy. The boys really enjoyed his presentation and learnt allot. Go raibh maith agat Callum.
